Kenner : Louisiana

Kenner city is surrounded by water on all sides. Kenner in Jefferson Parish was named LakeTown, a term attributed to the previously underdeveloped lakefront on Lake Pontchartrain. The community was named after plantation owner William Kenner Elevation. Kenner enjoys a warm climate with temperatures in the high forties during the winters and in the nineties during peak summer.

Population : 70,517 (as on July 2005)
