Louisiana : Administration

Louisiana is ranked 25th among the 50 states of U.S. and is located in southern region of United States. Louisiana was added to the U.S. union in 1812 as the 19th state. The government of Louisiana consists of one elected governor, two Senators and seven congressional districts and is represented in the U.S. upper house by six democrats and republicans. Louisiana has six votes in the Electoral College.
